ENGINEERED STONE

Engineered quartz or E-Quartz, is a man made product consisting of anywhere from 93%-95% quartz and the remaining 5-7% being resin.  It is a great alternative to granite and natural stone as it is not porous, heat resistant, and scratch resistant.  There are many brands of E-Quartz and they are all very similar in technology and characteristics.  Below is a list of some of our most popular brands

Silestone is made by Cosentino.  Silestone is the largest of the quartz brands and has some unique characteristics.  It contains Microban, which makes Silestone an anti-microbial surface.  Silestone also increased the warranty this year on the material to 25 years from 10 and made it transferable!  This is a great product offered in 1cm, 2cm, and 3cm.

Caesarstone is the one of the original quartz surface manufacturers. Caesarstone created a new kind of E-Quartz by the addition of quartz to the Bretonstone process. Caesarstone comes in over 40 different colors.

This is MS International's E-Quartz version. It has been created in many different colors unlike any other E-Quartz.
